This is a retreat for Conscious Living, Parenting and Teaching with awareness, compassion and wisdom.
This program is for leaders, administrators, parents, educators, counselors and individuals. The Sacred Classroom© helps us grow through varied challenges, become increasingly aware of the space we operate from and how we respond to situations. This is applicable for our own homes, classrooms, schools and workspaces.
The Sacred Classroomⓒ and Life & Living ™ residential retreat (SCLL) was born from over a decade of innovation and practice in soul-based education at Creative School, Bangalore. It is designed and developed by Jayashree Ashok, Founder of The Sacred Classroom© pedagogy, Founder, Director of Creative School and Prajna, and ably supported by the leadership team. Objectives of the Program:
A fundamental shift in the consciousness and heart of teaching is what we aspire for. Our intention is to bring about classroom environments filled with compassion, respect and abundant opportunities for adults and children to grow.

The Life and Living™ component of the training provides a way to become a ‘whole person’ in an open, non-judgmental, safe, collaborative and supportive environment.

Learn the Four Step Learning Process and Learning Design Centers to teach immersively. Explore different techniques, knowledge and modalities through a multitude of hands-on activities and experiences.

Enable Master Trainers to train generations of teachers and administrators in The Sacred Classroomⓒ pedagogy.
What are the benefits of the training?
The Sacred Classroomⓒ training is a journey of self-transformation that encourages and inspires an educator to realise his/her potential and connect to the light and strength within. A new vitality and confidence is born. Through the training an educator or a counselor receives valuable suggestions to renew, recharge and face challenges in administration, counseling, teaching and learning.Participants will learn to bring in compassion and consciousness while learning Self-Care, Meditation, Child Development, Emotional Intelligence approaches, Socio-Emotional Learning, Sacred Environment, Storytelling, Art and Craft-based pedagogy through seminars, experiential activities and creative visualization. We learn through insightful games, activities, and reflection exercises of the Life & Living kit, designed, curated, and developed in-house.
Who is the intended audience for the training?
The target audience of the training program are educators, administrators and teaching professionals across India and worldwide, who are dedicated to continuous professional development and committed to improving the quality of education in their learning environments. This outreach initiative is suitable for educators across the learner spectrum: creche/day-care, pre-primary, primary, middle and high school, special educators, educational leaders, administrators, social entrepreneurs.
